To change the look of the text your SchoolNotes page, you need to use HTML tags.

The easiest way to use tags in your SchoolNotes page is to copy an example from this page and paste it into your SchoolNotes page.

To copy, highlight the text, then go to Edit at the top and click Copy

Then go to your SchoolNotes page.  Click on the page to indicate where you want the text.  Then go to Edit and click Paste

Change the words in the middle (green words) by highlighting them and typing in your own words.

Okay, it's time to start making our text appear in different ways. Here are some examples for you to work with:

<B>Howdy</B>    Copy the red and green text, and paste it onto your SchoolNotes page.
This tag makes your text bold

Howdy                   This is what it will look like.

Now highlight the word Howdy, and replace with your own words.

Follow the same instructions when using the following tags:

<U>Underline Me!</U>     Copy and Paste this example.

Underline Me!                    This is what it will look like.

<I>Isn't this fun?</I>

Isn't this fun?

<STRIKE>You're Out!</STRIKE>

You're Out!

<CENTER>This centers text on the page</CENTER>

This centers text on the page

Having fun yet?  You can also use more than one tag at a time.  Let's say you wanted something in bold and italics.  Use the following example:

<B><I>I am bold AND Italic, which makes me cool!</I></B>

This will show up like this:

I am bold AND Italic, which makes me cool!

So let's try three things: Bold, Italic, and underline!

<B><I><U>Would you stop tagging me!</B></I></U>

This will give us:

Would you stop tagging me!

For centered text that is bold and italic, use this example:

<CENTER><B><I>Look at me now!</I></B></CENTER>

Look at me now!

Adding signs and symbols

To add a division sign to your SchoolNotes page or in your flashcards, you need to copy
this symbol       ÷       and then paste it into your School Notes page where you want it to appear.
